As I am sure many of you have gathered by now, Midland Texas is nothing like any place you've been to before. Known as the "Permian Basin," Midland is literally ground zero for the oil industry. With over 400 rigs in production, hundreds of people have relocated to Midland and are still coming!

The good news? It's only going to get better!

As I type this, we have a new apartment complex nearing completion at Loop 250 and Bus. Hwy. 20. Hundreds of homes are under-construction with entire sub-divisions platted and either breaking ground or very near it. At least two new hotels are nearing completion with another announced just this week. Pioneer Resources has announced this week the proposed plan for a 6-story new office complex within the ClayDesta complex to begin construction immediately and ready for operation next year.

AT THIS TIME... housing is very limited. Numerous investors are working to meet demand by the purchuse of homes to convert to rental properties, new townhomes and duplexes are going up, more apartments are planned for, and our sister city, Odessa, is much the same way!
